kueh pelita [...buat dinda]

what a great way to start my day! martha steward's work hahaha :’P

after macaroni & cheese, ikan pari asam pedas, kek batek coklat biskut marries and now…kueh pelita... my “geng mesin basuh” sibuk push kita to cooking and not co*ckin’ wokey a kueh pelita. ni kueh favourite nurul ngan kita. sound like sedap bangeeeeet.

so, memandangkan hanya kita je yang masih single & available i have decided on a ramadhan assignment just for fun! on that day, suddenly my assistant tak datang to help me cos sibuk sangat “ber-endut” without any notice. pwoooorh, korang adoooor? asisstant yang kekwat?!? hurm, terpaksalah kita buat sesorang sambil kidnap recipes online en. wahdi our bloggers (and ubahsuai sikit...re-inovasi ikut ke-teror-ist-an bakat korang).
the day started in my small little garden ek-ce-li not my plants and tumbuh merimbun kat bawah blok rumah ni. so, kita just pick-pick the daun pandan with jiran in the morning... and put some in a jar filled with some water. the aroma of pandan reeeeeeally wangi and it made the whole house smells delicious and sweet. homey!

mitos resepi kata cuma perlukan:

4 cups of rice flour
1/2 cup of sugar
1 cup of coconut milk
1 cup of hot water
1 cup of pandan juice
*cup disini tak bermaksud saiz cup bra’s ye wakaka.
sengkuang cina (but kita tak jumpa kat pasar so kita rembat je sengkuang rojak mamak stok apek cina…boleh gitew?)
agar-agar instant dengan harapan agar-agar menjadi!
serta secubit garam

steps:
[mix A :] masak air panas dengan agar-agar sampai chantek berkilat then put a side pandan juice (yang dikisar dengan sengkuang) and sugar (kalo suka lebih manis…korang campak je sugar mummy or sugar daddy korang dalam periuk ni).
[mix B :] mix 3 and a half cups of rice flour with hot water, coconut milk and salt + lil bit sugar. put a side and godak jangan tak godak deeeek! takut bergentil.
place the sengkuang cina (cincang) dalam bekas as based. fill the bekas with mix A and after 2-3 minutes nak beku tu you fill with mix B as toping layer.
then, leave to cool and put in es-bok. syok huh…wallah!

you know what, i've spent 1 hours on yester-sunday to finish the cookies below. O.M.Gucci ada betulnya semua yang kita perlukan ada dihujung jari or macam iklan syampoo tu…guna jari pun boleh… but it’s not easy like that-lah when korang celik IT pun but still don’t know how to cookin’ that kueh, a-la-mak!?! experience buat kek coklat batek biskut marries via beruk-band yang tak berapa nak pantas ni berbanding time dia nak bar or potong banyak buat kita felt so-so (lil bit nervous) cos this is maybe subject, mungkin menjadi and mungkin tidak..dush* memandangkan kita ni idup jahilliah kat dapur, so terpaksa gak guna talian hayat to phone call makcik jemmy yang selalu buat kueh ni for berniaga gerai.

lebih sadis, when my tong gas was empty and our periuk not fire-works-lah hahaha :D mau tak jadik juru gegas sekejap runway project ke rumah jiran sebelah to continue and finish the cookies.

so, the pictures is not tell you the true story. cos the taste soooooooooo test-is and esoknya kita wrapping & bring that kueh for my opismate and dengar apa kata juri…lost my sweeeeeet word’s when the first question is…

“ni kueh apa..?”
“ni cendol ke apa?”

hahaha and paling lawak soalan dia orang is “ni guna susu ibu mengandung ke santan?!?” i can’t stop to gelak devil’s.

i am happy…the experience maaaaaa, enjoy!
