jalan-jalan cari makan

i am your new host hehehe, JOHO (slanga JOHO-reans) ...gereekk sehhh...but not all places are good, though. anyway, these are the spots that korang singgah to JB (tempat aku and kekawan selalu lepak-ing) and there is a lot more of good places that you can go for Jalan Jalan Cari Makan @ JOHO!

location: IT ROO cafĂ© terletak di jalan dhobby (dekat dengan bank negara, around bukit timbalan) please guna cik google. tempat ni tersenarai pendek dalam “heritage trail”.
service: sangat mak-mak (makan macam dalam rumah sendiri)
interior / exterior: free WiFi and simple decor
food: 3.5 star (price valueable…cheap)

“the best chicken chop in town” the tagline read. that’s arguable. i’ve had better ones.

this humble shop is a walk down memory lane for me with its cool traditional ambience. simple chairs and tables placed near to each other creating a cramped feel. very simple decor with pics of jb of old (1950′s-1970′s) hanging on the wall.
aku order fried singapore beehoon (RM6++) udang punya leeeeer banyak segar-segar and makan dengan chilli potong sangat la terangkat…kelihatan sangat kafir zimmi bila makan dengan pair of chopstick (hidup lebih berharga gitew!) stylo :)
the award-winning chicken chop (awarded by The Star 2003) was first on the extensive menu which offers a range of western and local dishes. owned by a hainanese owner and operated by 4 malay ladies, the food here are all HALAL. the succulent chicken fillet is well cooked, fresh and topped with either mushroom sauce or black pepper sauce. you have a choice of breaded or grilled chicken chop.

::seafood fried rice, stulang laut::

location: google seafood stulang (yang penting bawah tangga, near to sayam and condominium tg. puteri).
service: ikut mood, sumtimes sangat manja meow-meeeeow macam nak kena babab and sumtimes macam haram jad…hahaha (2.5 star).
interior / exterior: jangan nak feeling macam makan kat carcosa seri negara wokey! view dia tak sechantek mana (b’cos bawah tangga kaaan?) dulu tempat ni gelap gelita but now dah terang sikit (dah makin kaya koooot? kahkahkah)
food: 4 star (cedap banget for seafood in town area)
what to order?
nasi goreng seeeeeeafood! korang mesti order...pari bakar sambal, udang butter & siakap and sayur punya la banyak (kacang buncis, kangkung etc) apa yang menarik tentang seafood fried rice ni dia tak menghadap laut langsung…no more sunset. kalo nak dengar bunyi ombak silalah bawak mp3 sendiri feeling-feeling tepi pantai. but, crowd punya la ramai dan kena beratur panjang. waktu niaga seawal jam 6 petang till midnite. harga makanan agak mahal sikit if nak compare dengan tempat yang tak berapa rupawan ni (b’cos ianya terletak dalam komersial area CBD) but korang akan terlupa pasal harga bila perot dah mula ronggeng rokiah and mulot dah mula dok sumbat a yummy-SEE-food.
so, pe lagi yang korang tunggu. bagi yang agak berkira-kira helai ringgit dalam wallet, this a two right place to making love…tapau your mata air to fallin’ in love…tempat ni memang gerek sey! hadooooOoi, lapo :’P
